Scapa is a software company specialising in IT Service Management, including Capacity Management and automated Incident Management. The company was founded in 1998 with funding from ATEP Ventures, Royal Bank Ventures, Scottish Equity Partners and a number of private investors. Scapa Technologies now employs 20 people and has approximately 200 customers including Deutsche Bank, Standard Life, Anglian Water, ComCast, Cerner (for the NHS) and IBM.

Scapa Technologies has a rich ecosystem of partnerships with application and technology providers, services organizations, open source consortia and standards bodies in Europe, North and South America and Asia/Pacific.

Through its relationship with the Eclipse Foundation, Scapa Technologies is also developing Open Source software adding value into the wider IT ecosystem.

Scapa Test and Performance Platform (Scapa TPP) is a Best-of-Breed Testing tool for BMC Remedy AR System, Citrix, Terminal Services, Virtual Desktop, and Web technologies.

BMC currently utilise Scapa TPP to load test the ITSM application in a real world scenario to root out any application bottlenecks as well as to improve code efficiencies.
